At Payaza I own the payments UI, wallets, KYC onboarding and reconciliation dashboards, used by 50,000+ people a month. I've spent 5+ years shipping web and mobile products for fintech, insurance, hospitality and collaboration teams.

I led the rebuild of Payaza's ticketing and payments platform, including creator wallets that trace every balance back to its transactions, and an embeddable widget that lets organisers sell tickets on their own websites. It shipped with zero rollbacks and brought in 32 new clients.

A Google Docs-style editor for web and mobile, with real-time collaboration, permissions and folders. I built the editor with Tiptap and Remirror, shipped translations across the product, and added error tracking that cut production incidents by 45%.

How I use AI

I use Claude Code and Cursor every day. AI makes me faster; it doesn't decide what ships.

  • I hand off scaffolding, large refactors, first drafts of tests, and chores like image optimisation and SEO setup.
  • I keep product and UX decisions, architecture, anything that touches money, and every commit.
  • I check it with strict TypeScript, lint and CI. Checks are never switched off to make an error go away, and I review every diff myself.
  • I debug locally first. When an AI-suggested fix for an embed bug grew into deploy-and-check-logs, one local curl found the real cause: a double slash in a URL. Now the shortest local repro comes before anything else.
